Sewing, Girls in Dresses and Tea Parties

I love for my girls to wear dresses. This is a picture of my 4 girls (my grand daughter is the littlest one with my sweet daughters).

I have really enjoyed sewing this summer and I have been doing a lot of it. I made 5 dresses out of the fabric in the picture, 1 red print dress, 4 satin dresses for the wedding. The wedding is just 13 days from now. I still have a little more sewing to do. What you cannot seen in the picture is that the two bigger girls are anxiously trying to get the picture done so they can run across the street to a birthday party.

We had just finished having a tea party with the neighborhood kids and a few others. We had about 16 people. We had tea, lemonade (it was about 100 degrees outside), cucumber sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, cinnamon crispies, chocolate cupcakes, funfetti (from the box) cupcakes, and fruit.

Then we played musical chairs for a couple of rounds. After this we had a white elephant gift exchange. There was no special occasion except my girls thought we should have a tea party. They made the plan handed out invitations and they put together little favors. I think everyone had a good time. Everyone really behaved well. I was impressed that even the boys had a good time.

Hi Reda.

You are a beautiful seamstress with beautiful daughters! You are an amazing woman. I think you can do anything - even drive an RV full of kids cross country! :)
