Can you answer this 5th Grade Math Problem and win the prize??

Our ladies group was recently given this challenge. I was the only one who came up with the answer. It was a real challenge for me and a great surprise to be the winner. Math is really my weak area!
Are you smarter than a 5th grader? There are no tricks or riddles so dont try counting the bus driver or anything. There are 7 girls on a bus. Each girl has 7 backpacks. Each packback has 7 big cats. For every big cat there are 7 kittens.
How many legs are there?

There will be a prize for the first one to email the correct answer to redaredding@gmail.com (If you've already done this one it doesn't count!) You must also send me your snail mail address if you want the prize. I will let you know when a winner has been found.

7 girls 7 backpaks 7 cats 7 small cats = 7x7x7x7x4=9604

7 girls 7 backpaks 7 cats 7x7x7x4=1372

7 girls on a bus = 7x2=14

TOTAL:9604+1372+14 = 10990

“the answer is 10990”
