Cherry Picking

Having moved into our house during the winter we have found several surprises as Spring and Summer have come to pass. Our latest surprise was to return from our trip to find out that we have a huge cherry tree in our yard. Of course we knew there was a tree but not a "cherry" tree. Today we picked about 5 gallons of cherries. We enjoyed a wonderful cherry cobbler a couple of days ago. Our hands and lips are stained blue from all the cherries we have been eating. We are enjoying the wonderful blessings God has bestowed. After we got everything just about put away we found out we have another cherry tree at the other side of the yard! The kids have had sooooooo much fun picking, eating, pitting, and freezing cherries.

We've had a very cherry day!
