Hiking at Mt. Rainier - Memorable Tuesday

Last Tuesday we went hiking at Mt. Rainier. These are some of the sights. You might also notice the kids gathering pine cones to ambush some other teens in our group:) We had a great day and met some really nice people. We got to know each other a lot better too. One of the nice workers gave me my own piece of the Jackson Visitor Center (the circular building is an old picture of the center:)they were tearing down:(

I tend to get overly worried when we are in potentially dangerous situations. I handled all of the craziness until the end and then I started to get a little worried about all of the escapades and started to caution everyone and pull them away from the edges of cliffs. We returned from Mt. Rainier and enjoyed a weiner roast with our hike leader Marilyn. She is a wonderful hostess. This was a very memorable Tuesday.
