Play Dough Pictionary

Last Wednesday evening in our Bible class we played Play Dough Pictionary. Our Bible lesson was on death. This was a very hard concept for the kids to grasp. The words they had to shape and try to get their team members to guess were: acorn, corn kernel, bear, and caterpillar. The kids had so much fun playing it and wanted to keep their play dough. I had not planned for that. This week I made some for them to keep. I made three different colored batches: purple, blue, and orange. The colors were not what I expected. I then molded them into hearts for each student. In a previous post on Monday, November 05, 2007 I shared a recipe for homemade play dough. You can use different shapes for different occasions:Valentines, Easter, Birthday favors, favors for small children at baby showers, etc.
