I added raisins, cranberries, cinnamon etc. each time I made it just to jazz it up!
I had a recipe like this we loved but it had eggs in it. My 18 yr old is severely allergic to eggs, so he could never eat it. So now he's thrilled with this!!
Elizabeth A. in MNelizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16376096667336921796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18992019.post-87430286170985083542010-02-13T20:08:07.521-08:002010-02-13T20:08:07.521-08:00hi, I have been thinking about making muesli (gran...hi, I have been thinking about making muesli (granola) bars for a while now, and I think I might try this recipe to start off with. Do you think muesli would work in place of (or in addition to) regular rolled oats?

Can't wait to try it, but I might start with a half quantity first, just in case.perigrinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09785313801826865842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18992019.post-14120280496821265252010-01-14T13:50:35.391-08:002010-01-14T13:50:35.391-08:00I'm glad you liked it!I'm glad you liked it!From Redding Mountainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11563669356270365957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18992019.post-20963183336636992772010-01-14T07:36:12.456-08:002010-01-14T07:36:12.456-08:00I made this this morning and we love it!! Andrew said it would taste good with ice cream *eyes rolling*, but he ate 4 plain. I'm about the only one in our family who likes cooked oatmeal (actually, I don't even like it, but I eat it :-), so I'm very grateful for this easy, delish recipe!
Thank you!
Elizabeth F., WVAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
