Cherry Pizza Dessert - Red, White, and Blue

I found this recipe in the Charleston Gazette back in 1981. I have enjoyed making it for many years. For a cookout today I am making this as well as Blueberry Crunch Pie (part Cherry for Mr. Redding). Cherry Pizza Dessert

Filling ingredients

14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix together until smooth and then refrigerate.

Crust:
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 cup oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Cream margarine and sugar. Mix in flour, oats, and nuts.

Make a thick ball. Spray 12 inch pizza pan or cookie sheet with cooking spray.

Press dough onto pan in 12 inch circle. Form a ridge around edge. Prick with a fork. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
To put together cherry pizza spoon filling on cooled crust and top with cherry pie filling and sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate until set and cut and serve.
